    Description

Rare antique 1932 collection of photographs and passes belonging to an employee involved in the Boulder Canyon Project aka the Hoover Dam Project in Nevada.  This project took place from 1930 until its opening in 1936.  Included here are 11 pages (6 leaves) containing 16 photographs showing the early stages of construction of the dam.  Also included but not pictured are a handful of pages showing another dam project that came with these photos.
The highlight of the collection is the Chamber of Commerce Parking Pass and United States Department of the Interior Bureau Of Reclamarion Boulder Canyon Project Entrance Permit with handwritten employee information and stamped date of November 10, 1932.  Both this parking pass, meant to be displayed in the employees vehicle window, and the entrance permit which granted admission into the project are very rare and were meant to be disposed of after use.
All photos and passes in Very Good overall condition with only gentle signs of wear and handling.  All pieces affixed to photo album pages but can be removed with steam if desired.  Black paper phot9 album pages are well preserved with minimal signs of handling.
Parking pass measures 5” in diameter.  Entrance permit measures 6” x 3 5/8” and each album page measures 13” x 10”.
