This is an original press photo. Glenn Gruff of Wyoming gets down to see how rainwater feels after the first rain in six weeks had fallen in the drought area. The northwest storm that promised relief to the drought area fell Sunday in Montana, Wyoming and the Western parts of the Dakotas and the rest of the Midwest are still in the grip of the drought. Photo measures 9.25 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 7-13-1936.
