Nanbu Nambu Ironware Tekki Tetsubin Iron Tea Kettle Japanese Teapot
Features:
This a cool vintage Japanese cast iron kettle or teapot with enamel inside.
It featured a hobnail pattern on the top half and a couple rings of hobnail on the lid.
There is nothing marked on it so I am not able to attribute it to a maker or determine the age.
Size:
It measures about 5 1/4” in diameter not including the spout x 3 1/4” tall.
Condition:
It is in very good used condition. There is a little but it rust on the edge of the opening but I am sure if you know how to work with cast iron you can get that removed.
I had it sitting next to some xmas trees and now there are a couple flecks of glitter on it as well.
I am sure a proper cleaning will fix it right up.
