Vintage 1980s GREAT AMERICA Aerial 11" x 14" Amusement Theme Park PHOTO Marriott Bally Gurnee IL Cast Member Exclusive Six Flags
I seasonally worked at Great America in Gurnee, IL the summers of 1981 - 1986. I can honestly say those were some of the best summers of my life. I was in the Foods Dept. Starting out in the Kiosk division and working my way up to being a manager in first "Penny P Patrick's Praline Parlour" and then at "Captain Morgan's Seafood Restaurant." Fun times!
I was recently cleaning out some of my plastic memory totes which have been tucked away for years. One of the things I came across was this framed photo. I don't remember the exact specifics of receiving it but I believe it was a photo given (made available for purchase?) to cast members. When I started working there it was still "Marriott's Great America" (I even got to meet Mr. Marriott when he came to visit the Park one day). It then briefly became "Bally's Great America" before the "Six Flags" name came around.  I believe Bally's was a subsection of "Six Flags" which it's currently branded but I don't specifically remember those details....when I worked there, it was under the Marriott or Bally name.

The picture is printed on Kodak paper.
It's been packed away for a few decades and is in overall good clean vintage condition. Because it's been in the frame (behind glass), it's not creased or wrinkled. It is NOT stuck to the glass so could be re-framed if you choose to do so. The current frame is nothing special but I'm including it as it seems like it would just be easier to ship this way.
A fun piece of vintage amusement park memorabilia for a collector or fan.
We are a SMOKE-FREE and PET-FREE household & all clothing is washed in allergen-free detergent. I continue to list additional items when I find the time.

Barring any crazy weather/hazardous driving situation, I ship as quickly as possible after receipt of cleared payment.

I respectfully ask you to realize that while I get your item packaged & off to the Post Office as quickly as humanly possible, I obviously do NOT have any control of how they handle it from there.  After I drop it off at the Post Office, the transit time is in the hands of the trusty Postal Service. They're generally quite efficient but do encounter some delays at times.
Postal rates keep increasing (obviously out of my control) & I carefully weigh the items prior to listing so that there are no surprises when it comes to shipping costs. I do include a very nominal charge to cover my packaging/printing materials. While I realize that you are looking for bargains, I too need to be able to cover my expenses.
