Vintage Rare Ingersoll Mickey Mouse

Description

Watch w/leather band is the 1934 model w/numeral 5 on the dial below Mickey's knee. This is the first year the watch was issued in a redesigned large blue rectangular box. Box insert specifies .95, which by 1937 increased to .25. Box lid has a few spots of blue color, mostly off the extreme outer edge. Box bottom is also tight. Inside the box is the cardboard insert which can be displayed vertically using the large blank flap on the reverse. This version has black leather straps w/pair of diecut metal Mickey's.  The band has a tear in it which is kind of where it might have been buckled and pulled over the years.  Overall a beautiful example of the classic watch in a scarce box.
I am not a watch expert. Should you want me to try something or take a picture I am willing to do this however this watch is being sold as a collectible watch for display.  By stating that it is mint, I am stating the outside condition is mint. This watch is over 20 years old.  I cannot guarantee that the watch works, as I cannot guarantee the inner makings of a watch and don't want to open it. As such, I am selling it as a collectible watch, and you are buying it as a collectible watch.
